The Tree.....

So, I have finished decorating the house inside and out for Christmas. The only thing left to do is.....the tree. While Lydia was still living at home, she was adament that we have a real tree. Fine, it worked. As all the children got older and started having their busy schedules with work and all it became VERY difficult for all of us to go and pick out a tree. One year it was the week before Christmas before we had a tree. The year that Lydia was getting married in January, Carol gave me a artifical tree that she no longer used. It was great! I loved it. Put it up, decorate it and forget it. How easy! The next year my sister also gave me her tree that she no longer wanted. It was very beautiful, big and very life like. However, it was hard to put up. Every branch was colored coded to go in to a specific hole. Billy decided that we donate it and buy another one for this year. Oh...this was decided last year.....So we did. As well as the one Carol gave us. So, now, WE HAVE NOT ONE TREE!!!!!!!! ugghhhh!!!! We've been shopping. Billy is really not too happy about spending the money for a new one. So, we thought we would maybe just get a real tree for this year. Great!.....but I gave our really heavy, really good tree stand to Lydia and Bo 2 years ago....... AHHHHH!
