Well our big day or rather should I say night was last night. We found out if our first grandchild is a girl or boy...... IT IS A GIRL!!!!!

We had the party at Lydia's and this is the evite that she sent to our family....

Pink or Blue?

Jon and Aubrey have planned a special surprise,

Be sure to bring kleenex to wipe your eyes.

We will gather 'round the computer and via Skype,

With cupcakes in hand, we will take a bite!

Pink or Blue filling will be revealed,

Finding out will be such a thrill!

Since the new Mom and Dad live about 7 hours away, we had to find out via Skype. (thank goodness for modern technology!) My good friend made the yummy cupcakes with the appropriate tinted icing in the middle of each. We all arrived at Lydia's and picked either a pink or blue rattle which indicated our choice of what we thought the baby would be. We gathered around the computer and Aubrey and Jon counted us down 3-2-1- and we all bit into the cupcake!!!!!!! It was great!!!! Then we watched their video of our newest little girl's ultrasound.
